Work Duration: 3 Months (01st Oct 2025 – 31st Dec 2025)
Work Location: Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC)
Working Hours: 10 hours/day
Working Days: 6 days/week
Salary: QAR 3,300 + Food, Accommodation, and Transportation (FAT)

Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled Overhead Crane Electrician for a short-term shutdown project at RLIC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems related to overhead crane operations and maintenance in Oil & Gas or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead cranes and associated control systems.
• Conduct inspection and testing of crane electrical components including motors, limit switches, contactors, and control panels.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and safe crane operation practices.
• Support in the diagnosis of faults in wire rope systems, rigging appliances, and accessories.
• Work in line with industry standards, including ASME B30.5 criteria for wire ropes and lifting safety.
• Maintain proper documentation of inspections and repair activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of overhead cranes.
• Strong understanding of overhead crane operation, electrical systems, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with ASME B30.5 standards and rigging safety requirements.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Plant sectors is essential.
• Must hold valid trade certificates relevant to the role.
• Proficiency in English communication is mandatory (written and spoken).
• Ability to work in industrial site conditions.
