Overnight Mental Health Program Specialist

All applicants must be able to pass a Livescan.

Looking for an individual available Friday - Sunday 11pm-7am. Ability to work holidays a MUST.

Duties
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders
- Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals
- Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic activities
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse issues
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health setting
- Familiarity with data collection methods and medical documentation practices
- Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed approaches
- Understanding of behavior management techniques and crisis intervention strategies
- Background in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment
