Overnight Newborn Care Specialist or Infant Nanny

Compensation: $37/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 55 hours per week

Overview / About the Family:

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced Overnight Newborn Nanny to provide attentive overnight care for their one-week-old baby. This role is ideal for a calm, nurturing, and knowledgeable caregiver who is confident supporting both newborn care and parents during the early postpartum period. The position is expected to last approximately 6–12 weeks depending on the family’s needs and the candidate’s availability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive overnight care for a newborn

• Support healthy sleep routines and soothing techniques

• Prepare and clean bottles and feeding supplies Handle diapering, swaddling, and infant hygiene

• Monitor feeding and sleep patterns throughout the night Assist with nighttime feedings and provide gentle guidance to parents as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery and baby areas

• Complete baby laundry and light newborn-related household tasks

Requirements:

• Extensive newborn and infant experience required

• Previous experience as a Newborn Care Specialist, Night Nanny, Postpartum Doula, or Infant Nanny preferred

• Knowledge of newborn development and safe sleep practices

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Comfortable working independently overnight

• Calm, dependable, nurturing, and professional demeanor

• 3-5 professional references required
