Do you love animals, have excellent judgment, and feel comfortable being trusted in someone's home overnight?

We Let the Dogs Out is hiring several mature, responsible and independent overnight pet care providers to join our award-winning shoreline team.

Our overnight service, Bed & Biscuit, provides pets with comfort, companionship and reliable care while their families are away. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work confidently without constant oversight.

What You'll Do

As an Overnight Pet Care Provider, you'll stay in clients' homes and care for their pets according to their normal routines. This may include:

• Feeding pets dinner and/or breakfast
• Taking dogs outside for potty breaks
• Administering basic medications, when applicable and trained
• Keeping pets safe, comfortable and settled through the night
• Following detailed home and pet care instructions
• Sending professional updates through our client portal
• Maintaining a clean, respectful presence in the client's home
• Notifying the leadership team promptly if anything seems off

This is more than sleeping at someone's house. Our overnight team provides real peace of mind during the hours when pets are most vulnerable and families are counting on us most.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• Mature, reliable and deeply responsible
• Calm under pressure
• Comfortable working independently
• Respectful of private homes and client instructions
• Detail-oriented and an excellent communicator
• Confident around dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and personalities
• Someone who follows protocols, not someone who wings it
• Available for overnight shifts, including some weekends and holidays

Pet care experience is a plus, but the right temperament matters most. We can train skills. We cannot train common sense, reliability or heart.

Schedule

Overnight stays run from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Daytime visits may also be available depending on client needs and your schedule. We're also looking for rotating availability on weekends, holidays and during peak travel periods.

Requirements

• Must be 21+
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone
• Able to pass a background check
• Comfortable staying overnight in client homes
• Able to follow written instructions carefully
• Communicates professionally and promptly
• Genuinely loves animals and respects the trust clients place in us
