Overnight Pet Sitter

At April Hudgins Pet Care Services LLC, we provide reliable, compassionate, premium pet care to families throughout the greater Middle Peninsula of Virginia, including Mathews, Gloucester, Middlesex, and York counties. We are currently looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and animal-loving Overnight Pet Sitter to join our growing team!

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys caring for animals, has a flexible schedule, and is comfortable staying overnight in clients’ homes while providing attentive, loving care to their pets.

Responsibilities

• Stay overnight in clients’ homes while caring for pets
• Follow detailed care instructions and maintain pets’ normal routines
• Feed pets, administer medications if needed, and provide exercise/playtime
• Provide companionship and monitor pets for health or behavioral concerns
• Keep homes tidy and secure during stays
• Send regular photo and text updates to clients
• Communicate professionally with clients and management

Qualifications

• Must love animals and have experience caring for pets
• Comfortable with dogs, cats, and other animals/farm animals is a plus
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to stay overnight in client homes
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and professional
• Previous pet sitting, veterinary, kennel, rescue, or animal care experience preferred
