Location: Central + South Charlotte (Mecklenburg County)
Job Type: Part-time, Contract | In-person (dog walking or overnight in client homes)
Pay: $15–$54/hr (dog walks) | $7-$110/overnight stay (PAID WEEKLY)

At Good Bubbas, we keep paws tappin’ and tails waggin’! We provide reliable, one-on-one care for furry family members while their owners are away. Think of it as a home away from home—with all the snuggles you could want.

We’re growing fast and looking for dedicated pet sitters who love animals, are dependable, and want to make pets (and their parents) super happy!

What You’ll Do

• Provide companionship, playtime, and snuggles
• Feed pets and provide fresh water according to instructions
• Walk dogs and provide breed-appropriate exercise
• Administer medications and supplements as needed
• Maintain clean living spaces and litter boxes
• Monitor pets’ health and report changes to owners
• Keep pets safe indoors and outdoors
• Send regular updates (texts, photos, calls) to owners
• Follow owner instructions, routines, and emergency procedures
• Be professional, reliable, and trustworthy in client homes

Who We’re Looking For

• ✅ 21 years or older
• ✅ At least 1 year of pet care experience
• ✅ Comfortable with overnight in-home stays
• ✅ Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
• ✅ Excellent communication skills
• ✅ Able to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
• ✅ Experience with anxious or leash-reactive pets is a plus
• ✅ Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
• ✅ Able to commit to at least 5 visits per month
• ✅ Able to commit to at least 6 months in total (hopefully more!)
• ✅ Based in Mecklenburg County, including Central + South Charlotte neighborhoods

Compensation & Perks

• Dog Walking Shifts: $15–$54/hr
• Overnight Stays: $55+/stay

• One of the main responsibilities of pet sitting is providing stellar care. Journal entries are the way we communicate with our clients. Our clients - although probably enjoying their vacation - are missing their pets dearly while they're away!
