Your Role: Overnight Awake Youth Counselor - see full job description at time of interview
You’ll ensure the safety and well-being of youth during overnight hours. This awake position requires vigilance, compassion, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow nightly instructions from the building supervisor
- Conduct regular room checks (every 10 minutes)
- Provide comfort and support to youth who are awake
- Maintain building security
- Complete shift documentation, light cleaning, laundry, and other duties
- Respond to emergencies and follow safety procedures
- Communicate promptly with the Night Awake Supervisor
- Uphold confidentiality and company policies
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Age 21+
- Prefer 2+ years’ experience working with youth (camp counselor, coach, babysitting, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to stay awake and alert throughout the shift
