Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support the P-8A Poseidon at Royal Norwegian Air Force Evenes Air Base, Norway by helping troubleshoot aircraft and mission system problems.

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Norway after initial familiarization training and visa processing. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

Assisting with fault isolation, repair assistance and O-Level maintenance of P-8A aircraft systems, mission system equipment, airframe, and engine

Must be capable of interpreting technical documents and possess the ability to respond to operational issues in addition to being knowledgeable in the maintenance of both aircraft and mission system

Conduct on-the-job and informal training for locally hired employees is also included in the position responsibilitie

Expected to be available during normal base working hours and during off-hours to address emergency / Aircraft of Ground (AOG) situation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum 3 years of hands-on flight line maintenance experience, directly supporting the P-8 or 737N

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Currently hold or have held an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) licens

Prior experience as an FSR supporting an aircraft weapon syste

Hands-on aircraft experience with the P-3 or P-8 aircraft operations or sustainmen

P-8 mission systems and operations expertis

Understanding of aircraft maintenance and parts manuals & engineering drawings, especially wiring diagram

Experience troubleshooting electrical and avionics problems/issue

Quality Assurance experience in an aircraft maintenance or production environmen

Experience working with the US Nav

Experience establishing a new operating base or site while working in austere condition

Ability to work independently without direct oversigh

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $85,850 - $116,150
