Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to the Principal to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar.
We are looking for someone to provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Principal, ensuring the efficient and professional operation of the Principal’s office. You will act as a key liaison between the Principal, school leadership, staff, parents, and external stakeholders, ensuring communication flows effectively and confidential matters are handled with discretion.
The role:
We seek an individual to join as a Personal Assistant to the Principal where your focus will be:
Providing full administrative and organisational support to the Principal
Managing the Principal’s diary, scheduling meetings, appointments, and school events
Preparing agendas, briefing materials, reports, and presentations
Managing incoming communications and ensuring timely responses
Maintaining accurate records of meetings, actions, and follow-ups
Acting as the first point of contact for the Principal’s office
Coordinating communication between the Principal and internal and external stakeholders
Drafting correspondence, announcements, and formal communications
Organising and coordinating meetings, leadership briefings, and school events
Supporting the planning and logistics of school events and leadership visits
Maintaining organised filing systems and key documentation
Supporting governance, reporting, and administrative processes
Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with coordination of priorities and key actions
The Successful Candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3–5 years’ experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or senior administrative role
Experience working in a school or education environment (desirable)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
High level of discretion and professionalism
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently while supporting a busy leadership team
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
