Packaging Designer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Packaging Designer who specializes in creating both 3D mockups and flat-view design files. The ideal candidate must have strong command over Adobe Illustrator and be highly skilled in preparing print-ready packaging files with proper technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Design creative and market-ready packaging concepts.
Create accurate flat-view (decline) design files in Adobe Illustrator.
Develop realistic 3D mockups and product visualizations.
Prepare and finalize print-ready files with correct bleed, margins, colour modes, and specifications.
Ensure all artwork meets printing standards and production requirements.
Coordinate with printing vendors to ensure quality output.
Review and approve final production files before printing.
Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and product positioning.
Make revisions based on feedback and production requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging design (FMCG/E-commerce preferred).
Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator; Photoshop and In Design required).
Experience in creating accurate flat-view (decline) files and realistic 3D packaging mockups.
Solid understanding of print production processes, materials, and file preparation (CMYK, bleed, margins, die lines, etc.
Strong knowledge of typography, colour theory, and brand identity principles.
High attention to detail with strong technical accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
