Job Overview

One of our Clients is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in product packaging design, branding, and visual communication, with the ability to develop innovative packaging concepts that enhance product appeal and brand recognition.

This role requires a designer who understands print production, packaging structures, and visual branding, and can translate marketing ideas into impactful packaging designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design creative and market-driven product packaging including boxes, labels, wrappers, and cartons.
• Develop packaging concepts aligned with brand guidelines and product positioning.
• Create print-ready artwork and dieline layouts for packaging production.
• Ensure packaging designs comply with branding standards, labeling regulations, and printing requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and production teams to finalize packaging concepts.
• Modify and improve existing packaging designs to enhance visual appeal and functionality.
• Prepare mockups, prototypes, and presentation materials for new packaging ideas.
• Maintain consistency in brand identity across all packaging materials.
• Coordinate with printing vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate color reproduction and design output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Sciences, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in packaging design or graphic design (FMCG or manufacturing industry preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing product packaging, label design, and branding projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience in packaging dyelines, print production, and packaging materials is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and print specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with packaging printers or packaging manufacturers.
• Knowledge of 3D packaging mockups or packaging visualization tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with FMCG packaging trends and consumer-focused design.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per hour
