Packaging (import & export) and logistic

Key Responsibilities

Packaging

• Plan, design, and oversee product packaging for export and domestic shipments as per industry and customer requirements.
• Ensure packaging materials meet shipping standards and minimize damage risk during transit.
• Coordinate with vendors for sourcing of packaging materials and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct packaging trials and suggest improvements to optimize space, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
• candidate required to conduct vendor visit for confirming material readiness status & packaging for the same.

Import & Export Operations

• Manage end-to-end documentation for import and export shipments.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, DGFT, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters for timely clearance and dispatch.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery to customers and internal sites.

Logistics

• Handle inbound and outbound logistics for domestic and international consignments.
• Optimize transportation and freight costs while ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with logistics service providers.
• Maintain records of shipments, freight bills, and analyze cost-saving opportunities.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of export packaging standards and international shipping norms.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally preferred).
• Good negotiation and coordination skills with vendors and logistics partners.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
