Packaging Materials Executive

Job Summary: - Executive - Packing Material is responsible for managing the inventory of packaging materials required for daily production. They ensure timely supply to the production floor, maintain accurate records, coordinate with vendors and stores, Purchase order Placing, and oversee the proper usage and storage of packing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor daily requirements of packing materials based on production plans.

2. Ensure timely availability of packaging materials to avoid production delays.

3. Inspect incoming packaging materials for quality and quantity compliance.

4. Maintain proper records of packaging material receipts, usage, and balance stock.

5. Coordinate with the purchase/stores department to place Purchase order.

6. Supervise storage, stacking, and labeling of packaging materials as per standards.

7. Track expiry/shelf life (if applicable) and rotate stocks using FIFO/FEFO.

8. Minimize material wastage and report any damage or discrepancies.

9. Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols in the packaging material area.

10. Assist in monthly stock audits and inventory reporting.

11. Liaise with production, quality, and logistics teams & for smooth operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. Knowledge of packaging materials (cartons, labels, films, pouches, etc.)

2. Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems

3. Attention to detail and quality control

4. Strong coordination and communication skills

5. Basic knowledge of GMP and safety standards

6. Ability to manage a small team of helpers or operators

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Graduate/Diploma in Logistics, Packaging, or relevant field

2. 1–3 years of experience in packaging supervision or material handling

3. Experience in Fruit packaging/Cold chain operations/Dairy industry preferred

4. Good knowledge of Excel, ERP & Emails.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
