Packet Core Network Engineer

Huawei is hiring a Packet Core Network Engineer to lead the design and delivery of core network projects, with a focus on PS Core technologies (EPC, 5GC) .

This role requires strong technical expertise in telecom core networks, along with the ability to manage delivery, support pre-sales activities, and ensure high-quality project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of core network engineering projects
• Manage engineering activities and resolve technical issues during project delivery
• Collaborate with the marketing/sales team to provide pre-sales technical support
• Engage closely with customers to ensure successful project delivery and satisfaction
• Ensure network safety, stability, and performance
• Build and enhance team technical capabilities and working environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in telecom core network, especially Packet Switch (PS) domain
• Strong knowledge of:
• EPC (Evolved Packet Core)
• 5GC (5G Core)
• UPCC
• NFV architecture
• Telecom cloud solutions
• Solid understanding of data communication and telecom fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience working in project delivery environments
