Part-Time Paediatric Nurse Coordinator – Complex Care Services

Hours: Part-Time (Flexible)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Paediatric Nurse (RSCN/RN Child) to join our growing Complex Care team on a part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children with complex health needs within their own homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee care packages for children with complex healthcare needs.
• Develop and review personalised care plans and risk assessments.
• Conduct staff competency assessments, observations, and clinical supervision.
• Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of care staff.
• Manage and coordinate staff rotas to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
• Carry out clinical reviews, spot checks, and quality assurance visits.
• Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to care staff.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and clinical governance requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RN Child) with a valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience working with children with complex healthcare needs.
• Strong knowledge of clinical competencies, staff supervision, and care coordination.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
• Tracheostomy care.
• Suctioning
• Enteral feeding (PEG).
• Seizure management.
• Community complex care or continuing care services.
