Paeds Technician

Job Summary:

The Paeds Technician – Instructor is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training to students in pediatric healthcare techniques. The role involves equipping trainees with essential clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional ethics required to support pediatric care in healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver classroom and hands-on training in pediatric care and clinical procedures
  • Develop lesson plans, training materials, and practical demonstrations in line with curriculum standards
  • Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and practical evaluations
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and academic support to students
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols, safety, and hygiene standards during training
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth program execution
  • Stay updated with latest practices in pediatric healthcare and incorporate into training
  • Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and clinical exposure opportunities

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pediatric Care, Nursing, or relevant healthcare field
  • Certification in Pediatric Nursing/Technician (preferred)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical or teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric procedures, patient care, and safety standards
  • Teaching or training experience will be an added advantage
