Paid Internship (Cosmetic & Medical Dermatology)

Are you pursuing a degree or career in health care and want to gain first hand experience at a busy, growing, friendly practice? Our Paid Internship Program in dermatology provides real-world work experience in a fast-paced dermatology practice where you will learn about all aspects of practicing medicine. You will be involved in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. As a paid intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of the practice, learn about all aspects of dermatology and practicing medicine in a growing practice, and advance your career with knowledge and experience that will help you stand out from amongst your peers. Here are just a few examples of what you will learn.

• Interacting with patients at check-in, rooming and check-out.
• Learning scheduling, insurance verification, eligibility and billing.
• Observing and where appropriate helping with procedures.
• Learning how to use practice management and EMR tools.
• Learning and explaining cosmetic services and products.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a health-related study program and be available to commence work immediately. Work experience in a practice is NOT required. However, prior work and references are a plus. Thank you in advance for applying!
