Paid Media Executive

The Role

The Paid Media Executive is responsible for the accurate setup and optimisation of paid social media campaigns, with additional support across paid search where required. This role plays a key part in driving growth across business divisions by delivering effective digital activations that attract and engage potential clients. Core responsibilities include audience research, social ad creation, optimisation and budget management, performance monitoring, A/B testing, and reporting on campaign effectiveness. The role will also support paid search activity through keyword research, bid management, and campaign analysis as needed.

The individual will be Cairo‑based, supporting the UK business, and will form part of a Cairo media buying team alongside other locally based media buyers.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Setup

Set up new paid media campaigns upon receipt of a brief, including target audience, budget, and messaging.

Campaign Checks and Optimisation

Review campaigns thoroughly before publishing to ensure accuracy.

Daily Checks

Conduct daily checks on all live campaigns to ensure they are running correctly. Alert the team to any campaigns performing below benchmarks, allowing discussion on how best to optimise and adjust strategies.

Reporting

Generate regular reports with added commentary for sharing with business stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in campaign setup. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in digital marketing.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

  • Experience in setting up paid social campaigns across multiple platforms including Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Experience in setting up paid search campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret reporting information.
  • Experience using Google Analytics.
  • Fluent in English.
  • A passion for marketing, paid social and PPC opportunities.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with PPC and Paid Social campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Paid Media, PPC marketing principles, approaches, and best practices.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Certification or qualification in paid social and as a PPC Specialist
  • Immediate availability preferred
