The Bar is looking for a culture-forward Social Media Intern to support and help grow our short-form and digital presence.

This is not a scheduling-posts-and-logging-off role. You’ll be inside the content engine — ideating, filming, editing, posting, tracking performance, and helping shape the voice of the brand in real time.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with daily TikTok and Instagram content creation
• Help ideate and execute trend-based content that feels brand-right
• Film, edit, and format short-form video (Reels + TikTok)
• Support content capture during shoots, office days, and drops
• Monitor comments and community engagement
• Track content performance and surface insights
• Help prep content for launches and campaigns
• Organize content libraries and maintain posting calendars

You Are

• NYC-based and available to work in-office
• Fluent in TikTok and Instagram (you understand platform culture, not just posting)
• Comfortable filming and editing video (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
• Highly organized and fast-moving
• Visually sharp with strong instincts
• Comfortable on camera if needed
• Deeply tapped into trends, creators, and internet culture

Bonus if:

• You’ve grown a personal or brand account
• You understand analytics and what drives conversion
• You’ve worked in fashion, DTC, or creator-led brands
• You can shoot clean iPhone content with good lighting and framing
