Social Media Content Specialist (Part-Time) – Outdoor Lifestyle & Powersports

Ride North is building something unique in the Upper Peninsula.

Instead of a single dealership page, we are launching the Ride North Outdoor Media Network — a collection of social media channels dedicated to the outdoor lifestyle of the UP.

We are looking for part-time Social Media Content Specialists who are passionate about outdoor recreation and content creation.

This is a flexible 10–15 hour per week role where you create and post social media content within a specific outdoor niche.

If you love riding, fishing, boating, camping, or outdoor adventure — this is an opportunity to help build one of the largest outdoor social media networks in the region.

Available Content Niches

Specialists will manage content within one or more of the following areas:

• Ride North Offroad (ATVs, UTVs, trail riding)
• Ride North Dirt (dirt bikes and motocross culture)
• Ride North Street (motorcycles and scooters)
• Ride North Snow (snowmobiles and winter riding)
• Ride North Fishing (fishing rigs and gear)
• Ride North Pontoons (lake life and family boating)
• Ride North PWC (Sea-Doo and personal watercraft)
• Ride North Campers (camping and travel trailers)
• Ride North Power Equipment (mowers, chainsaws, generators)
• Ride North Trailers (equipment and hauling trailers)
• Ride North Tractors (property maintenance and tractors)

There are also opportunities to create content for:

• Ride North Kingsford
• Ride North Ishpeming
• UP Kubota

What You’ll Do

• Capture photos and short-form videos
• Create engaging social media posts
• Film product walkarounds and outdoor lifestyle content
• Visit Ride North locations occasionally for content
• Upload content to the Ride North media library
• Post consistently to your assigned niche pages

Most content will focus on short-form video for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Schedule

This is a flexible part-time role.

• 10–15 hours per week
• No fixed office hours
• Work on your own schedule
• Some visits to Ride North locations required

This role is perfect for:

Compensation

Base Retainer:
$400 per month

Performance bonuses available:

• $50 per 500 followers gained
• $100 for videos reaching 50,000 views
• $250 for videos reaching 100,000 views
• $500 bonus for videos reaching 500,000+ views
• $25–$50 for qualified leads generated through social media

Top creators who produce strong content can significantly increase their earnings.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for people who:

• enjoy creating social media content
• understand Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video
• love outdoor recreation and powersports
• are comfortable filming and editing content
• can work independently without micromanagement

You do not need corporate marketing experience.

Passion for the outdoors and creativity matters far more.

Our goal is to build the Ride North Outdoor Media Network — a collection of niche outdoor lifestyle pages that connect riders, anglers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts across the region.
