Paid Social Media Specialist

Job Description

Mom’s Design Build is seeking a creative, strategic, and growth-driven Social Media Specialist to lead and expand our digital presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for content creation, platform management, strategy development, and performance tracking with a strong emphasis on exponential growth and monetization, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role ensures our socials are cohesive with our #CasualLuxury branding style that our company is known for.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, thinks outside the box, and has outstanding communication skills. They are also a storyteller and a strategist: someone who can capture beautiful, authentic jobsite moments while also analyzing performance metrics to drive real business results.

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

· Develop and execute engaging, on-brand content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Houzz, TikTok, and others platforms

· Plan, coordinate, and capture content on jobsites, during installs, walkthroughs, team meetings, and with designers

· Shoot and edit high-quality short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) & some long-form content

· Create educational, inspirational, and behind-the-scenes content that reflects our brand voice

· Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and assisting as needed

· Ability or willingness to learn to fly a drone

Growth Strategy & Platform Management

· Create monthly content calendars aligned with business goals and project timelines

· Coordinate with designers, project managers, and leadership to capture key milestones

· Maintain organized content libraries (photo, video, project highlights)

· Stay ahead of seasonal trends and industry shifts

· Develop and implement strategies to exponentially grow our following

· Increase engagement rates and community interaction

· Identify trends and proactively leverage viral opportunities within the design/build and lifestyle space

· Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversions

Monetization & Revenue Growth

· Develop and execute strategies to increase monetization across Instagram and TikTok

· Identify brand partnership opportunities and affiliate marketing strategies

· Explore creator programs, paid collaborations, and sponsored content opportunities

· Track and report on monetization performance and ROI

Support Other Marketing Initiatives

· Assist with event coordination and preparation

· Assist with professional photoshoots of completed projects

· Design and coordinate other print and media materials for brand promotion

Job Requirements

Marketing Degree or equivilent

1-3 years of experience in marketing

Proven experience growing Instagram and TikTok accounts (portfolio required)

Strong understanding of short-form video strategy and platform algorithms

Experience with monetization strategies on social platforms

Proficiency in content creation tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)

Strong photography and videography skills

Excellent storytelling and caption writing skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team

Passion for interior design, landscape design, home renovation, and lifestyle content preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
