The Paint Shop Manufacturing Engineer ensures the stability, efficiency, and quality of all painting operations — maintaining project timelines and proactively resolving issues to prevent operational delays.

As the process owner for daily operations, this role safeguards the highest levels of safety, quality, and productivity-directly influencing the product’s final appearance, consistency, and long-term durability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, configuration, testing, and implementation of new and optimized paint line processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

• Act as the main technical contact with paint material and equipment suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination and issue resolution.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in process optimization, energy consumption, and environmental performance.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials) or Science (Chemistry).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint shop operations within an automotive manufacturing environment.

• Solid understanding of metal pre-treatment, electro-deposition, and paint application processes.

• Experience with paint line control systems and wastewater treatment is an advantage.
