Painter

Job Purpose:

The Painter is responsible for preparing, finishing, and painting surfaces for interior fit-out projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and finishes that meet company standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare walls, ceilings, wood, metal, and other surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming before painting.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, lacquers, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Execute decorative finishes, textures, and special painting effects as per design specifications.
• Protect surfaces and surrounding areas using appropriate coverings and masking before painting.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of paint materials and chemicals.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect finished work to ensure surfaces are smooth, evenly coated, and free from defects.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and ensure cleanliness of the worksite.
• Comply with company quality standards and project-specific requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Painter in interior fit-out, construction, or related industry.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, painting methods, and finishing standards.
• Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, and application tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights when required.
• Understanding of safety practices and procedures at construction sites.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of painting experience in interior fit-out projects.
• Certification or training in painting and finishing (advantageous).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
