- Application:Applying paint, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Hanging wallpaper is also a common task.
- Material and tool management:Maintaining an inventory of supplies and selecting the correct tools for each job.
- Cleanup:Cleaning up the worksite, tools, and supplies, and rearranging furniture after the project is complete.
