Painter

We are hiring an experienced Painter to join our Facilities Management team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality painting, surface preparation, and finishing works across residential, commercial, and facility assets. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced FM environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and finishing works for buildings, apartments, offices, and common areas under FM contracts.
• Perform proper surface preparation including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, filling cracks/holes, and applying primer.
• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Conduct touch-ups and repainting for walls, ceilings, doors, metal surfaces, and wooden fixtures.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks involving painting and coating.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve required shades.
• Follow FM standards for quality, safety, and reporting.
• Protect surrounding areas, furniture, and flooring prior to work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technicians to complete work orders on time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter in Facilities Management, Maintenance, or Construction.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and finishing methods.
• Ability to interpret work orders and FM job instructions.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to ladders, scaffolding, and chemical use.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual tasks.
• Basic communication skills in English; other languages are a plus.
