Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Execute residential and commercial painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment with precision and safety.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
• Apply various coatings such as stucco, industrial paints, or masonry finishes to meet project requirements.
• Install fixtures, trim carpentry, moldings, and perform restoration or remodeling work with attention to detail.
• Perform surface repairs including masonry work, concrete finishing, framing, or drywall restoration as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal and ensuring safety protocols are followed on construction sites.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Skilled in using hand tools like brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns; power tools including drills and sanders; and specialized equipment like airless sprayers.
• Knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic coordination.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
• Hands-on experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, welding basics, carpentry (including trim carpentry and framing), and renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices along with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
