Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on both residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or power tools with precision and attention to detail.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications.
• Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, drywall patching, and trim carpentry to create a smooth finish.
• Execute specialized painting tasks including industrial painting, masonry coatings, stucco application, and renovation projects.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for surface preparation and finishing work.
• Assist with fixture installation, framing, masonry work, concrete finishing, welding, and other related construction tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong understanding of construction estimating and project planning.
• Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setup.
• Knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic coordination across different surfaces.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Background in construction site experience including renovation, restoration, framing carpentry, drywall installation, stucco application, masonry work, and maintenance tasks.
• Skills in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, industrial painting techniques, and working with materials like concrete or stucco are highly desirable.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
