Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces, whether residential, commercial, or industrial, with precision and efficiency. Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed schematics to accurately execute painting plans and designs
• Apply paint using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools for efficient coverage
• Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial coating applications, restoration projects, stucco work, masonry finishes, and concrete finishing
• Install fixtures, trim carpentry, moldings, and perform renovation tasks involving drywall installation and framing carpentry
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed while maintaining safety standards on construction sites
• Conduct maintenance tasks including touch-ups, repairs, and routine upkeep of painted surfaces across various environments

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of color theory and surface preparation techniques
• Hands-on experience with commercial and industrial painting projects on construction sites or renovation projects
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for accurate measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project planning for efficient workflow management
• Experience with plastering, caulking, fixture installation, restoration work, masonry finishing, welding (preferred), and maintenance tasks is advantageous
• Prior construction site experience including framing carpentry, trim carpentry, stucco application, concrete finishing or masonry work is highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
