Painter

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects
• Execute construction painting tasks on new builds or renovation sites with precision and attention to detail
• Perform specialty finishes including stucco application, masonry painting, restoration work, and fixture installation
• Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion
• Maintain safety standards by properly handling tools like scaffolding, welding equipment (if applicable), and other hand tools while adhering to site protocols
• Collaborate with carpentry teams for trim carpentry or frame carpentry work during remodeling or renovation projects
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished work meets company standards and client expectations
• Assist with maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, masonry touch-ups, or concrete finishing as needed

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques
• Hands-on experience in commercial or industrial painting environments on construction sites
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and spray equipment safely and effectively
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for estimating project scope and material quantities
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects
• Experience with plastering, stucco application, restoration work, or masonry is a plus
• Background in renovation projects involving fixture installation or remodeling tasks
• Construction site experience demonstrating adherence to safety protocols and teamwork dynamics
• Additional handyman skills such as caulking, drywall repair, framing carpentry or welding are advantageous

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour
