Painter

Clean Cut Painting is looking for a skilled, motivated Painter and Lead Painter who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, and delivering high-end results. These are not entry-level positions; we are looking for someone who can confidently lead projects, manage a small crew, and maintain production quality from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of 1-2 painters on residential projects
• Oversee daily production and jobsite organization
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with office staff regarding project progress, scheduling updates, material needs, change orders, and jobsite issues
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients
• Complete hands-on painting work alongside the crew
• Maintain clean, safe, organized jobsites
• Identify and solve production issues before they become problems
• Coordinate prep, coatings, clean-up, and punch list completion

Types of Projects

• Interior painting
• Exterior painting
• Cabinet refinishing
• Trim and detail work
• Surface restoration and prep
• Light carpentry repairs (experience is a plus)

Qualifications

• Strong residential painting experience
• Spraying experience
• Leadership experience managing crews preferred
• Ability to work independently and keep projects moving efficiently
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift ladders/materials and work physically throughout the day

Bonus Skills

• Cabinet refinishing experience
• Light carpentry / rot repair
