We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter with proven experience in pipeline painting, surface preparation, and protective coating applications for Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Construction projects. The ideal candidate should be familiar with industry painting standards and capable of working on pipelines, steel structures, tanks, and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation including sandblasting, grinding, wire brushing, and cleaning.
- Apply primer, intermediate, and finish coats to pipelines and industrial equipment.
- Carry out painting and coating of pipelines, tanks, vessels, steel structures, and mechanical equipment.
- Measure and maintain required paint thickness (DFT) according to project specifications.
- Mix and apply paints, epoxies, polyurethane coatings, and protective coatings.
- Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
- Read and understand painting specifications, method statements, and drawings.
- Coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors to ensure project compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in industrial or pipeline painting.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Pipeline projects is mandatory.
- Knowledge of protective coating systems and industrial painting techniques.
- Experience with airless spray painting equipment.
- Familiarity with surface preparation standards and coating specifications.
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments.
- Understanding of HSE requirements and safe work practices.
- Gulf experience is preferred.
