Painter / Drywaller

We are seeking a skilled Painter / Drywaller who has atleast 1 year experience and their own transportation and a valid drivers license. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and experience working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties. This role involves repair work to include painting, airless sprayers, hanging drywall and finishing walls with a knockdown texture. This is not for new construction work it is for residential repair work

Duties

• Prep for paint
• Paint with brushes, rollers and sprayers
• Install drywall patches on walls and ceilings
• Finishing with a variety of textures, including knockdown textures
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to ensure proper installation.
• Apply joint tape and compound to seams and corners for a smooth finish.
• Perform plastering and caulking as needed to achieve a polished appearance.
• Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, and other trades on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct repairs on water-damaged drywall and perform mold remediation when necessary.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in painting and drywall installation or related construction fields.
• Familiarity with various construction techniques including framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation.
• Experience with painting, sheens, textures, plastering, caulking, knock down textures, stucco application
• Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration and mold remediation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
