Job Title: Painter & Gypsum Board Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Gypsum Board Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in painting, drywall installation, gypsum board works, finishing, and interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and finish gypsum board (drywall) systems, partitions, ceilings, and decorative features
• Measure, cut, and fit gypsum boards according to project specifications and drawings
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling cracks, patching holes, and applying primers
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Ensure smooth and high-quality finishes on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing gypsum board structures and painted surfaces
• Mix and match paint colors according to project requirements
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter and Gypsum Board Specialist
• Strong knowledge of gypsum board installation, joint treatment, finishing, and ceiling works
• Experience in painting, surface preparation, color mixing, and finishing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• Good understanding of construction and interior fit-out standards
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
