- Key roles and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize paint and coating processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. ,
- Analyze and maintain automated paint equipment, including robotic spray systems.
- Develop technical specifications and provide technical support to project sites.
Quality assurance and control :
- Ensure all painting work meets quality standards, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks on surfaces and finishes.
- Use and calibrate inspection equipment and maintain calibration records.
- Document inspection results and generate quality reports.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure surface preparation meets standards for optimal adhesion.
Technical support and troubleshooting
- Resolve technical issues in real-time and lead problem-solving efforts.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other teams, such as engineering, production, and sales.
- Troubleshoot and resolve painting-related issues as they arise.
- Ensure all instruments used for painting are calibrated and maintained.
Safety and compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement safety procedures.
- Ensure the workplace is safe and secure.
- Contribute to the development of safety procedures.
Team and project management
- Supervise and lead paint shop teams to meet production targets.
- Coordinate with project managers and other teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Manage manpower and resources, including scheduling and planning production activities.
- Train and qualify painters on best practices, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Oversee project execution from start to finish, including managing subcontractors.
