Painting Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the painting team for signage, joinery, and interior works.
• Review project specifications and ensure correct application of paints, primers, and coatings.
• Oversee surface preparation (sanding, priming, masking, etc.) to achieve required finish quality.
• Ensure proper mixing, color matching, and application techniques for paint and coatings.
• Monitor and control the usage of materials, ensuring minimal wastage.
• Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces to meet company and client standards.
• Assign tasks, manage work schedules, and ensure timely completion of painting works.
• Train and guide painters in using tools, spray guns, and finishing equipment.
• Enforce workplace safety rules and ensure use of protective equipment by the team.
• Report daily progress, workforce allocation, and material requirements to the Project Manager/Site Engineer.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues related to paint application, finish defects, or equipment problems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Technical Certification in Painting, Civil/Interior Works, or related trade.
• 5–7 years of relevant painting experience, with at least 2–3 years as a Foreman (preferably in signage, joinery, or interior fit-out).
• Strong knowledge of paint types, coatings, finishes, and application methods (brush, roller, spray, etc.).
• Experience in automotive-grade and industrial painting (preferred for signage and metal works).
• Ability to read and understand project drawings and finish schedules.
• Skilled in color matching, surface preparation, and achieving high-quality finishes.
• Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and safe handling of painting materials.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Pay: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼5,000.00 per month
