Painting Foreman

Job Summary

Interiors Book is seeking a skilled and experienced Painting Foreman to supervise all painting and finishing activities within our furniture and joinery factory. The ideal candidate will lead the painting team, ensure high-quality finishing standards, maintain production timelines, and enforce safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily painting operations in the factory
• Assign tasks to painters and helpers according to production schedules
• Ensure proper surface preparation (sanding, priming, polishing)
• Monitor spray painting, PU finishing, lacquer application, and veneer polishing
• Ensure color matching and finishing meet approved samples and client specifications
• Control material usage and minimize wastage
• Coordinate with joinery and production teams to maintain workflow efficiency
• Maintain painting tools, spray guns, and spray booth equipment
• Enforce safety procedures and proper PPE usage
• Provide daily progress reports to the Production Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture or joinery painting
• Strong knowledge of PU, lacquer, veneer polishing, and spray finishing
• Experience supervising factory-based painting teams
• Ability to read technical drawings and finishing specifications
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Good understanding of safety standards in painting environments
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE factory experience is highly preferred
• Immediate joiners preferred
