Painting Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Painting Supervisor to oversee and manage all painting and coating activities on construction and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality finishing work, proper surface preparation, correct paint application, and strict compliance with safety and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise painting teams, including painters and helpers, on site.
• Plan and organize daily painting activities according to project schedules.
• Inspect surface preparation (blasting, sanding, cleaning) before painting.
• Ensure correct mixing and application of paints, primers, and coatings.
• Monitor coating thickness, finishing quality, and repair work if needed.
• Read and interpret painting drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure proper use of painting tools, spray machines, and equipment.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate with project engineers, QC inspectors, and other supervisors.
• Keep daily progress reports and material usage records.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painting Supervisor in construction, industrial, or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of painting systems, coatings, and surface preparation methods.
• Ability to manage teams and handle site operations efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and industrial coating standards.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
