Panel Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Control safe startup, normal and shut operations by DCS as per established procedures and manuals.
• Operates and adjust unit conditions, parameters through Distribution Control System (DCS)
• Familiar with DCS and EMERSON-DELTA V SYSTEM Panels.
• Handle all unit emergencies and take proper actions accordingly
• Communicate with all parties for any unit upsets, start up, shutdown and emergency
• Operates & Troubleshooting all unit equipment at plant
• Responsible for giving instructions to field operators
• All the duties to be done according to PTW (Permit to work) system & in safe manner
• Maintaining process specifications within client standard limits.
• Supporting the shift supervisors in running the plant & cover the manpower shortage during the shift
• Report any defects and coordinate with maintenance for rectification.
• Making the production report daily and monthly

Qualification and Experience required:

· BE/BTech. or Diploma in chemical/mechanical /instrumentation engineering

· Min. 5 years (Degree holder) and Min. 8 years (Diploma holder)

· Prior KOC project exposure (preferred).

· Only candidates from inside Kuwait with transferrable residency will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From KD600.000 per month
