Paralegal

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal with a background in commercial litigation who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Trial experience is preferred but not required—we’re willing to train the right candidate who brings initiative and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all stages of litigation from case inception through trial and appeal

• Draft, edit, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and subpoenas

• Organize, review, and analyze documentary evidence, contracts, financial records, and correspondence

• Manage case files and document production, both physical and electronic

• Track and maintain litigation calendars, hearing/trial dates, deadlines, and court requirements

• Support trial preparation including the creation of exhibit binders, trial notebooks, witness files, and demonstratives

• Coordinate and communicate with clients, experts, vendors, and court personnel

• Conduct research on legal issues, witnesses, and experts using online tools and firm resources

• Handle the preparation and follow-up of subpoenas, discovery responses, and records retrieval

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in a litigation-focused practice; commercial litigation experience preferred

• Strong organizational and case management skills with attention to detail and deadlines

• Familiarity with discovery processes, subpoenas, and trial preparation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; experience with e-filing systems and document review platforms is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with attorneys and staff

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Paralegal Certificate or related legal training preferred
