Practice Areas of Focus

• Family Law (primary)
• Criminal Law support as needed
• Personal Injury experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in the intake process of new family law clients.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
• Engage in significant client interaction, including regular updates and case management communication.
• Maintain and organize client files, both electronic and physical.
• Draft legal documents including letters, pleadings, discovery, memorandums, and motions.
• File and e-file legal documents with the courts.
• Answer inbound calls that are transferred from the firm’s West Jordan headquarters and assist callers in a professional manner.
• Greet clients and visitors to the St. George office and provide a welcoming environment.
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Professional and courteous demeanor, with strong client service skills.

Job Type

• Full-time
• Expected hours: 40 per week, with 120 billable hours required per month

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office, St. George, UT)

Compensation

• Pay: $25/hr. starting pay, depending on experience.
