Position Summary:
The Paralegal is accountable for supporting the timely and accurate handling and processing of active litigation files and lawsuits from the time the files are assigned to Basham & Scott, throughout the litigation, discovery, and trial processes. The Paralegal supports the firm’s litigation attorneys and is responsible for managing deadlines and tasks to ensure efficient processing. The Paralegal also communicates tactfully and effectively with colleagues, attorneys, courts, clients, and other stakeholders.
Key Outcomes:
Education/Experience:
· Paralegal/Legal Assistant degree or certificate, and/or Associates Degree required, or educational equivalent
· Minimum of 2 years experience at a law firm/legal environment focusing on litigation
· Or equivalent combination of training, experience and education
