Paralegal

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our law office. The ideal candidate will support our legal team in various capacities, ensuring efficient legal case management and administrative functions. This role is essential in helping our firm navigate complex legal matters, particularly in areas such as Estate Litigation, General Civil Litigation, and many others.

Duties

• Assist attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible.
• Manage deadlines for filing documents with courts or regulatory agencies.
• Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status.
• Draft correspondence and other written materials as needed.
• Assist in the review of contracts and agreements for compliance with applicable laws.

• Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Proficiency in filing systems and document management related to legal cases.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
