Paralegal

Dr. Mohamed Almur Advocate and Legal Consultants, a reputable law firm based in Dubai, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Paralegal to support its legal team in litigation and advisory matters. The successful candidate will work closely with advocates and legal counsel, assisting in case preparation, legal drafting, and day-to-day legal operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Paralegal will be responsible for, including but not limited to, the following:

• Assisting lawyers in preparing litigation files, case bundles, and supporting documents
• Drafting legal correspondence, basic pleadings and summaries under supervision
• Conducting legal research on UAE laws, regulations, and court procedures
• Organising and maintaining case files, evidence, and client records
• Coordinating with courts, government authorities, and external parties for filings and follow-ups
• Managing deadlines, hearing schedules, and court calendars
• Liaising with clients for document collection and procedural updates
• Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with professional and ethical standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or a recognized qualification
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably in a law firm or legal consultancy
• Hands-on experience and working knowledge of UAE judicial electronic platforms, including Dubai Courts system, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department system, Rental Dispute Center system, Dubai Public Prosecution system, and the Federal Court system, with the ability to independently handle electronic filings, follow-ups, case tracking, and procedural submissions
• Strong organizational skills
• Good command of English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation management
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively under supervision
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional approach
