<Job Summary>

<Responsibilities>
- Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, including case preparation, document review, and trial support
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools across diverse practice areas such as personal injury, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, and environmental law
- Draft and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, contracts, and correspondence
- Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accuracy and organization
- Coordinate discovery efforts by reviewing documents, preparing production logs, and facilitating communication with clients and opposing counsel
- Support project management tasks related to litigation timelines, court deadlines, and administrative filings
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for case development
- Maintain meticulous records of case activities, court filings, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal standards
<Requirements>
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law office setting
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation supporting multiple practice areas such as personal injury law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, or immigration law
- Proficiency with legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with UCC law and securities law is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential
- Experience with document review, data entry, filing procedures, and document management systems such as iManage or similar platforms
- Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette for client interactions
- Knowledge of project management principles within a law office environment; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with legal software such as PCLaw or other case management tools is preferred
- Ability to perform research across various legal domains including environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, patent law, tribal regulations or immigration laws
