Job Overview
We are a Colorado-based law firm seeking a skilled and organized paralegal or legal assistant to join our team of three attorneys. This is a dynamic, client-facing role that spans case management, court filings, and trial support. The ideal candidate brings prior paralegal or court experience, a working knowledge of the Colorado Court System, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. Familiarity with family law and criminal law is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and conduct client intakes with professionalism and care
- Assist attorneys at trials, mediations, and hearings
- Organize, label, and manage discovery materials
- Review and organize extensive financial documentation for Sworn Financial Statements and written discovery
- Handle case management from intake through resolution
- Communicate and correspond with clients regularly
- Prepare and submit filings with the Colorado Court System
- Manage calendaring and scheduling for three attorneys
- Provide general administrative and office support
Experience
- Prior experience as a paralegal or in a court setting — required
- Demonstrated familiarity with Colorado Court Systems
- Background in family law and/or criminal law — preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with Clio
- Familiarity with billable hours
- Experience with Math4Law or Family Law Software - preferred
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
