Paralegal, Eurasia & Middle East
At The Coca-Cola Company, we are looking for a Paralegal to support the legal function across the Eurasia & Middle East Operating Unit, with a primary focus on the Middle East region, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. The role will provide assistance to Legal Counsels in delivering continuity, sustainability, consistency, and effectiveness of the function.
What You'll Do For Us
- Facilitate company secretarial processes and draft Board of Directors resolutions, General Assembly documents, and Powers of Attorney.
- Assist business units in drafting and reviewing non complex contracts and managing contract lifecycle to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Prepare pleadings, correspondence, termination letters, and other formal communications for execution offices.
- Review promotion materials, package labels, and marketing/advertising content to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
- Monitor local regulations, advise internal clients on new enactments, and coordinate with outside counsel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate departmental records tracking contracts, approvals, policies, regulatory updates, and other relevant documents.
- Track and administer the legal function's budget, including costs for outside counsel, notarization, litigation, travel, etc., and recommend adjustments.
- Support training delivery on compliance, governance, litigation, and policies, and prepare bulletins to raise legal awareness.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, making them more effective and productive.
- Provide cross market support across the Eurasia & Middle East Operating Unit as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (preferred) and/or relevant paralegal/legal secretarial certification or diploma.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or a multinational company's legal department.
- Strong legal research and detail orientation with a compliance mindset.
- Clear, effective communication skills and fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a definite advantage.
- High integrity, time management skills, and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated prioritization skills in a complex, multicultural environment.
