Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a paralegal with 2 years of experience to join the tax litigation team at a prestigious global law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a solid litigation footing, experience with federal and state courts, strong Bluebook and cite checking skills to join a specialized team. This is a hybrid role and will be onsite 3 days/week.

Responsibilities Include:

Assists with all phases of discovery, including document review, production and depositions
Proofreads memos, briefs and other legal documents
Cite-checks legal documents
Research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, SEC/EDGAR, and other websites, articles, etc.
Assists with trial prep, interviews, depositions, hearings, and client meetings
Supports preparation and filing of pleadings for Federal and state courts
Assists attorneys and staff with various projects

Qualifications Include:

Bachelors Degree
2+ years litigation paralegal experience, Bluebook and cite checking required
Trial prep, court filing, and e-filing experience
Strong research and communication skills
Experience with Relativity, TextMap, or CaseMap required

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
