Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including immigration law, consumer debtor bankruptcy and personal injury law. This role is essential in managing legal cases from inception to resolution, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and deadlines are met. The Case Manager will work closely with attorney and clients, providing support through effective communication and organizational skills.
Duties
- Manage a caseload of legal matters across multiple practice areas, including but not limited to immigration law, consumer debtor bankruptcy and personal injury law.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Fastcase and AILA Link to support case strategies.
- Draft immigration legal documents, contracts, and correspondence with attention to detail and adherence to legal standards.
- Perform document review and manage case files using document management system CLIO.
- Assist in the preparation for litigation by organizing case materials and evidence for trial.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for case development.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and case progress through effective data entry practices In CLIO.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and provide executive administrative support as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a law office setting with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong clerical experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour
