Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, including Family Law, Civil Litigation, and personal injury law. Your expertise in legal research, case management, document review, and administrative support will be essential in ensuring our legal processes run smoothly and efficiently. Duties

  • Assist attorneys with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to gather pertinent case information across diverse practice areas
  • Manage and organize legal documents using iManage and other document management systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Draft, review, proofread, and transcribe legal documents including contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity
  • Conduct comprehensive case file reviews and maintain detailed case management records to track case progress and deadlines
  • Support project management efforts by coordinating case schedules, filing deadlines, and client communications efficiently
  • Perform data entry tasks related to client information, court filings, and legal administrative records with meticulous attention to detail
  • Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, answering phones with professional etiquette, and handling correspondence

Experience

  • Proven paralegal experience supporting multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, or personal injury law
  • Strong familiarity with legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis
  • Experience working with document management systems like iManage or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and contract review
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
  • Proficiency in project management tools and legal case management software such as MyCase or equivalent systems
  • Exceptional communication skills for interviewing clients or witnesses and providing clear updates to attorneys
  • Clerical experience involving filing systems, data entry tasks, phone etiquette, and general administrative duties in a busy law office environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
