Paramedic

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in advanced life support and demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality patient care in various settings. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support and transporting patients to higher level medical facilities.

Duties

• Provide advanced life support and critical care interventions, including airway management, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Conduct physical examinations and vital signs monitoring to evaluate patient health status.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain compliance with medical protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with hospital staff during patient handoff at Level I and Level II trauma centers or urgent care facilities.
• Participate in critical care transport as needed, ensuring safety during transit.
• Engage in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine.

Requirements

• Valid Paramedic certification and state licensure.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for patient transport and equipment handling.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
